Extra Agreement

This Extra Agreement is between a producer and an individual who will act as an extra in a motion picture and sets forth the specific terms of the arrangement including extra’s role and payment of wages. The agreement sets forth that employment of the extra is subject to him/her providing documents required by IRCA and other employment eligibility documents required by law. This agreement also contains an Extra Release. Having a written Extra Agreement will be valuable if there are future misunderstandings between the parties.

This Extra Agreement contains:

• Parties/Related Agreement Information: Name of the producer, the title of the motion picture, the role to be played, dates of employment and employee’s name, address and contact information;
• Payment of Wages: Extra will be paid on Friday following the services performed;
• Work Time: No increased compensation will be paid for work performed on nights, weekends or holidays unless set forth;
• Meals: Meal breaks or food services will be provided at six hour intervals;
• Requisite Documentation: Extra will provide all documents required by IRCA and comply with all immigration verification procedures required by law;
• Alcohol or Drugs: Use of alcohol or drugs during employment hours will result in immediate termination;
• Screen Credit: Extra’s screen credit is subject to the discretion of the producer;
• Signatures: The employee/extra and producer must sign and date this agreement;
• Extra Release: The extra grants all rights in his/her performance in the motion picture to the producer.
