This Employee Final Release is used when an employee voluntarily leaves or is terminated by an employer. This release will effectively release the employer from any claims which the employee may decide to make in the future regarding his/her employment. It is important that an employer have all exiting employees sign a release. A written Employee Final Release will be useful in the event of future claims or litigation.
This Employee Final Release contains the following:
- Release: Sets out in detail the specific claims for which the employer is released;
- Admission: No admission of liability is deemed on the part of the releasee by signing the release;
- Signature: The employee must sign and date the Release in front of a witness.
