This Artwork Release is between a producer and legal owner of artwork for its depiction in a motion picture. This agreement sets out the terms of the arrangement including a description of the artwork and owner’s waiver of rights to inspect or approve the motion picture. A written Artwork Release will prove helpful in the event of disagreements or misunderstandings between the parties.
This Artwork Release includes the following:
- Parties: The names of the parties;
- Description: Description of the artwork depicted in the motion picture;
- Motion Picture: Title of the motion picture;
- Waiver of Rights: Owner of art waives the rights to inspect or approve the motion picture;
- Hold Harmless: Owner of artwork releases and holds producer harmless from liability for alteration of artwork in the picture;
- Signatures: The artwork owner must sign this release.
